1. What akiind is

akiind is a private AI companion that helps you think out loud about personal issues. It is not a therapist, a medical professional, a counselor, a financial advisor, or a legal advisor. akiind does not provide professional services of any kind. Nothing on akiind is medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

2. Not for emergencies

akiind is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, in danger, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please contact a local crisis line immediately. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In the UK, the Samaritans are at 116 123. For other countries, visit findahelpline.com.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use akiind. If you are under 18, please use akiind with a parent or guardian's awareness.

4. Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for the security of your Google account. You're responsible for what you say in the chat. You agree not to use akiind to harm anyone, to attempt to break the service, or to use it for any illegal purpose.

5. What you can do with akiind's responses

The responses from akiind are generated for you. You're free to quote, share, or save them for personal use. If you publish them publicly, please attribute them to akiind.

6. The service

akiind is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep it available, accurate, and helpful, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that any specific response is correct, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

7. We may change the service

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. The core experience (free, private, no training on your data) will not change without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, akiind is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and by email. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent change.
